Energy audits of buildings
The Energy Audit of a building consists of the analysis of the parameters relating to the consumption of the building considering the current state of the building envelope and its heating systems. The objective is to define the feasibility of a plan of interventions aimed at reducing consumption through the energy optimization of energy production and distribution systems. This type of analysis is also mandatory every four years for large companies and energy-intensive companies (Law 7/8/2012 n. 134)
Who can use the service
This service is mainly aimed at large companies (more than 250 employees and a turnover exceeding 50 million Euros or more than 250 employees and a balance sheet exceeding 43 million Euros) and energy-intensive ones but can also be requested by private individuals and companies who have the aim to improve the energy efficiency of their buildings.
How it is done
The analysis is carried out according to the following formula:
• collection and processing of energy consumption and cost data
• implementation of on-site technical inspections
• identification of technical and/or managerial interventions for the increase in efficiency.
