Design of medium voltage networks

For companies that own production facilities with an installed power exceeding 100kW, ARERA (or the manager/distributor?) grants the possibility of obtaining a delivery of electricity in Medium Voltage. The transition to medium voltage involves better management and distribution of electricity within the company as it allows the use of higher voltages for the machinery that can benefit from it and the scaling down to low voltage only where necessary. Likewise, both the energy distribution system and the connection to the grid must be redesigned to allow safe and efficient energy distribution.
